Where does Scandinavia Express Services travel?

Scandinavia Express has over 40 daily departures to more than 18 locations within Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. You can travel safely and conveniently throughout this vast region at very reasonable cost with Scandinavia Express.

How are the buses equipped?

Scandinavia Express operates a variety of buses. The Super Deluxe and Deluxe buses are comparable to European coach design with reclining seats. The Super Deluxe has air-conditioning and toilet. The Deluxe buses have air-conditioning. The Luxury and Semi-luxury buses compare very well with local buses but have no air-conditioning or toilets. All the buses have passenger seat belts, TV video facility and music system.

Do the buses operate 24 hours a day?

No. Tanzania restricts night travel so
Scandinavia Express operates primarily during daylight hours within Tanzania. Cross-border services between Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia operate during evening hours and overnight.

Do the buses make stops?

Except for intermediate rest stops every few hours or a meal stop (scheduled as close to normal meal times as possible), most coaches do not stop between the scheduled departing and destination points. However, if reserved in advance, some coaches may pick up or drop off passengers at specified intermediate stops en route to their destinations.

Does Scandinavia Express have any limited stop services?

All routes have limited stops but due to the long distances of most of our routes, no route is non-stop. Therefore, all coaches have one or more designated rest stops or a lunch break en route.

Are stopovers permitted?

Yes. Provided the ticket is reserved and prepared prior to commencement of the journey to include stopovers at designated en route points. Each sector requires a new ticket coupon. Ad-hoc stopovers are not permitted once the journey has commenced without losing the remaining sector value of the journey.

If I miss a departure or a connection, what should I do?
