IMMIGRATION

Passport: Required. Minors up to age 16 years travelling alone require their own passport.

Visa: Required (including minors travelling on a parent's passport) - except for nationals of Zambia, British residents holding a residence permit, alien residents of Zambia holding of a re-entry visa, citizens of various countries (check with your travel agent or Zambia embassy), British tourists on an organized tour with a Zambian tour operator.

Visa fee: Payable in foreign currency (US$) of US$20. Visitors must hold a return or onward ticket to their next country of destination.

HEALTH

No vaccinations are required to enter Zambia from any country.

Recommendations:

Yellow Fever for all visitors (except for children under 1 year old).

CUSTOMS

Free import (by passengers 18 years and older) of:

450 grammes tobacco or 200 cigarettes, 1 opened bottle alcoholic beverages.

CURRENCY

Import: Allowed:

ALL TRAVELLERS - Local currency (Zambia Kwacha) ZMK100, foreign currency unlimited.

Export: Allowed:

ALL TRAVELLERS - Local currency (Zambia Kwacha) ZMK100, foreign currency limited to that declared on entry.
